Expectations Versus Realities

As explained in the section on the "Variable Nature of a Case Life Cycle", we request that our clients maintain a certain level of flexibility with respect to timelines and the order in which events occur. At the Law Office of Robert W. Bauer, P.A., we typically have a 12-month aspirational goal in non-family civil cases, and a 9-month aspirational goal in family cases. However, it is critical that we distinguish between aspirations and realities. Many factors, entirely out of the control of the Law Office of Robert W. Bauer, P.A., can serve to delay checkpoints in the litigation process. For instance, deponents, interviewees, and/or clients can seriously delay the progress of production if they fail to comply in a timely fashion or if schedules simply do not marry in a mutually agreeable fashion.
