Administrative Law

Our office is devoted to representing professionals, businesses and everyday citizens experiencing legal problems with Florida’s regulatory agencies. Clients have included doctors, nurses, employers, realtors, corporations, and private parties. Representation includes disciplinary investigations and actions, license application denials, and licensure examination. Lawyers who practice administrative law help clients comply with -- and in some instances challenge -- rules, regulations, and orders of local, state, and federal government departments.

Administrative review can be adversarial in nature and apply an entirely different set of evidentiary and procedural rules than a courtroom proceeding, and in a vastly different dispute resolution culture. These differences also apply to the strategies and tactics that must be chosen and used in preparing the case, negotiating settlements, presenting evidence and arguments, and pursuing rights of appeal. The advice of a lawyer experienced with a wide range of administrative and licensing proceedings ensures the the client is not disadvantaged by subtle points, unique to the administrative process, that might otherwise be entirely overlooked.
